About the Venue
Lake Vansjø is an extensive, complex water system in the Østfold region, near Moss and Fredrikstad, offering a challenging venue with great sporting potential. The lake is divided into several basins with different characteristics — from shallow, heavily vegetated bays to deeper sections with distinct bottom structure.
Characteristics:

Varied structure: reed beds, underwater meadows, drop-offs, hard flats and channels between islands.

Depth: key areas are vegetation edges and hard/soft bottom transitions.

The competition takes place on the entire lake Vansjø except for Vestre Vansjø naturreservat.
